Storyline
Over the vacations, ned (bryan cranston), an overprotective however loving dad and his own family go to his daughter at stanford, in which he meets his largest nightmare: her properly-meaning but socially awkward silicon valley billionaire boyfriend, laird (james franco). the contention develops,and ned's panic level is going via the roof when he finds himself lost on this glamorous high-tech global and learns that laird is set to pop the question.
